"The location is amazing. Nice and quiet, but easy access to roads. It was easy to find, and actually came up as BelBiarge on Google maps The Gite had a beautiful character, inside and out.

Chaunay was easily accessible by both foot and car and had great amenities.

The Gite itself was clean and welcoming on arrival.

A quick summary from our side:

Kitchen / Diner – There was everything you could ever need here to cook and eat with. It was more equipped from home! Considering the size of the Gite, it was good to have so much cutlery.

The eating area here was brilliant as well.

Lounge – Good sized room. Lots of space and more importantly, lots of spaces to sit .

TV was really good for options when someone was tired and wanted time out from the sun.

Bathrooms – Great usable spaces. Lots of room in both as well, so good sizes for more than one person in at a time when getting ready. Showers worked really well too, and the power was perfect.

Bedrooms – Great to have so many sleeping options, and to have each room individually decorated.

The quality of the furniture was excellent and comfortable as well.

Lots of storage space for clothes as well, and hangers which was great as we hadn’t brought any!

Outside – Nice big table to eat outside at, and in the shade so not sitting in the very hot sun at lunch time. The games were great to keep us entertained, and provided fun for the kids (and the adults 😉). Having the option of a  BBQ was very useful (and used quite a lot).

The pool was brilliant. Great size and well maintained. 

A good number of sun loungers as well so everyone had someone to sit / lie down.

The outside covered pool seating area was also very welcome on very sunny days, and also later in the evening to sit around and chat.

The garden was really well maintained (especially considering the lack of rain), and the size was perfect for playing games.

We absolutely loved staying at Gîte BelBiarge.

It was like a home from home, with everything we could have asked for (and more! – forgot to mention the books we could read as well).

Although we have talked about trying another area of France again, we 100% would consider coming back again. It was everything we dreamt it would."
